Additionally, broaching demonstrates excellent material versatility, effectively processing everything from aluminum and cast iron to high-strength alloys and powdered metals. Although initial tooling costs are substantial due to custom broach design and fabrication, the per-part economics become exceptionally favorable in mass production scenarios, where rapid cycle times and minimal operator intervention deliver significant long-term savings.
